About our Training Portal

Our Training Portal is our main source of information about using GEOREKA Software. This site is under active development so, please be patient or contact us when you cannot find a topic you wish explained.

Organisation

Our training is organized around 4 main levels. These levels are not mutually exclusive, but reflect more how difficult a task is to master in GEOREKA. Most topics are covered in Level 1: basics, but are repeated in other courses with more background information.

For those wishing to understand the underlying technologies, we will also be adding theoretical topics to the training material where we will explain them in-depth.

Level 1

This is where you learn to navigate the interface, import your drillhole data, create a topographic surface, and get comfortable viewing your data in 3D.

Level 3

Here you learn to compare interpolation methods — Inverse Distance, Kriging, RBF, and machine learning regression — all within the same interface. You’ll also work with GEOREKA’s data analysis tools: scatter plots, clustering, and dynamic 2D/3D linking. The Numeric Modelling and Data Analysis courses are your main resources here.

Level 2

You’ll learn about indicator points, domain functions, the workflow graph, and the model descriptor. By the end of this level, you should be able to create a stratigraphic model from scratch.

Level 4

This is where you go deep on the areas most relevant to your work. We have dedicated courses on faulted geology modelling, thin structures like veins and dykes, and more. You don’t need to complete all of these — pick the tracks that match your projects.
